1. You may easily send your playlist you want to listen to on your favorite player appication or device. (If you don’t have a playlist yet, now would be a good time to create one.)

2. Top right part of the selected playlist’s pane shows the “Stream to Devices” button which gives access to the screen with some interface controls for managing the parameters of streaming:

a) “Shuffle/Sequential” radio button: controls the order the tracks will be played in — random or original, respectively.

b) “Original/Custom” radio button: allows to choose the initial stream quality based on the tracks’ current bitrate or set the required one, respectively. In the last case…

c) you can select the “Stereo” or “Mono” mode and

d) set the bitrate level you wish. (For example, if you’re going to use a Treo on an EDGE network, make sense to select Mono 64Kbps mode.)

e) “Start Winamp” button: generates playlist and opens it with Winamp player application.

f) “Start iTunes” button: calls iTunes player and passes it the generated playlist.

g) “Start Windows Media Player”: generates playlist and opens it with Windows Media Player application.

h) URL pointing the created radio stream: you may copy the link and paste it into the appropriate text boxes the applications provide or, say, email it to yorself in order to easily forward it into your device. For Treos and other mobile devices you may find helpful to omit the “http://” at the beginning of the URL to make the operations easier.

3. You can now log in to MediaMaster directly from your Treo or Windows Mobile phone and get access to your playlists. Just go to http://www.mediamaster.com with your mobile device.

Treo’s running Palm OS work right out of the box. They have all the software required to listen to streams comes installed with the Treo 700p and Treo 650.

Windows Mobile requires that you install a media player. Please see this page for more information.

Once you’ve logged in, you can click on the link to listen to the playlist, or copy the URL to your mobile media player. You can also view the contents of the playlist by clicking on the info link.
